TriNova leather water repellent is excellent for use on shoes and jackets. As with most products of this nature you should always test on a non-visible spot before applying. Doing so helps prevent discoloration caused by many chemicals. I had no issues using TriNova on my jacket and boots. It's easy to apply. Just get a polishing cloth and rub it on. A little goes a long way. This 8oz. bottle should last for awhile.
