This odor eliminator uses removable carbon filter sachets that can be taped on or near a surface, or inserted into shoes etc. They last approximately 15 days but start really losing their effectiveness around 10 days. They can be "revived" by placing in direct sunlight for several hours which extends the life up to four months. Afterwards directions recommend emptying the contents into your garden.
One of the suggested uses is for diaper pails. As a mother of two this is a bit absurd to add to my routine ... but if you can swing it and remember to change them then they could be a great buy. I also have an issue with the small size. Kids and pets could think they are toys or possibly ingest them.
